The Hallelujah Diet: The Biblical Natural Diet

Have you ever wondered what the Hallelujah Diet is? The Hallelujah Diet uses God’s natural foods to help you lose weight, then remain trim and slim. The diet is very simple - you just follow the ratio of 85% raw foods to 15% cooked foods.

The 85% part of your Hallelujah Diet is based on natural foods that are uncooked and unprocessed. There are many nutrients found in raw foods and juices that can help satisfy your nutritional needs as well subside hunger pains.

There are certain types of foods that you can eat. For beverages, you can have freshly extracted vegetable juices (such as carrot or barley) with distilled water. For dairy, you can have fresh almond milk, or frozen banana, strawberry, or blueberry “fruit creams.” You can have any type of unsulphured, organic dried fruit as long as you don’t make this more than 15% of your daily consumption. Grains include soaked oats, dehydrated granola, dehydrated crackers, and raw ground flax seed. You can have any raw vegetable and you can have raw green beans, raw peas, sprouted lentils, and sprouted garbanzo beans. You can eat nuts such as raw almonds, sunflower seeds, macadamia nuts, and walnuts sparingly. The oils and fats you can have include extra virgin olive oil, avocados, and raw unrefined flax oil. You can also have seasonings such as fresh or dehydrated herbs, garlic, sweet onions, parsley, cayenne pepper, and salt free seasonings. You can have soup as long as it is raw. If you crave sweets, you can have fruit smoothies, raw fruit pies with either nut or date crusts, or date nut squares.

The 15% of the Hallelujah Diet includes cooked foods. This can include caffeine free herbal teas, non-dairy cheese, rice milk, organic butter, stewed unsweetened frozen fruits, beans (kidney, pinto, red, white, or black), mayonnaise (as long as it is made from cold-pressed oils), whole grain bread, cereals, muffins, and rice, molasses, date sugar, steamed or wok-cooked vegetables.
