Smash Fat with the Fat Smash Diet!
The Fat Smash Diet was created by Dr. Ian K. Smith. Dr. Smith is well known as the medical expert on VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club. The Fat Smash Diet is a healthy diet that lets you lose weight, but is a diet that you can safely continue over a long period of time.
One thing that sets the Fat Smash Diet apart from others is that you can eat as many fruits and vegetables as you like. Many people find they fail on diets because they feel limited and restricted to how much they can eat, but this diet avoids that. Diets that are high in fruits, vegetables, and greens can lower your risk of heat disease and cancer.
When you start the program, you will be looking at a 90 day period in which you must follow the Fat Smash Diet. That initial period is divided up into 4 phases. Phase I is the detox phase and it is nine days long. You will eat mostly fruits and vegetables to cleanse your body. In addition to fruits and vegetables, you may have legumes/beans, tofu, oatmeal, brown rice, 2 cups of low fat milk, yogurt, 4 egg whites, and a limited amount of olive oil to use as dressing. Your beverages are confined to water and herbal tea.
Phase II is the foundation phase and itl last three weeks. You follow the same regime as the first nine days, but now you can reintroduce lean meats to your body. You can add chicken, turkey, fish – no pork. You can also include one whole egg, unsweetened cereal, an ounce of cheese, a ten ounce cup of coffee, and two cans of diet soda.
Phase III of the Fat Smash Diet is the construction phase and it last four weeks. You are still eating the same things you had in phase I and II, but now you will reintroduce whole wheat pasta and bread. You can also increase protein, add mayonnaise, peanut butter, 2 whole eggs, lowfat milk, low fat/fat free cheese, freshly squeeze juice, and whole grain bread, pasta, and a dessert. Phase IV is the temple phase that lasts for life. You follow phase I, II and III and add some white starches and wine or beer.
